David’s Bridal announces digital shift

Traditional US bridal retailer David’s Bridal has announced a new CEO to oversee a shift to a digital-first strategy

The company has named Kelly Cook, the company’s current president of brand, technology and finance, as new CEO and the new digital concept has been dubbed the “Aisle to Algorithm” plan.

Cook said: “We are poised to become the only player in the wedding industry with an integrated retail, loyalty, media, and planning ecosystem — backed by proprietary first-party data no competitor can match.”
