Hema rolls out RFID

By Retail Technology | Wednesday April 16 2025 | UPDATED 15.04.25

Dutch chain store Hema is rolling out RFID across its international store network

Hema will implement Nedap’s iD Cloud RFID platform across more than 740 stores in the Netherlands, Belgium, and France.

By becoming even more data-driven, Hema will further strengthen its inventory management.

Customers will be able to see exactly how many of their favourite items are still available in a store via the app or website.

Store staff will also be able to track inventory faster and more accurately.

Hema chose Nedap because of its proven expertise in large-scale RFID deployments across multiple countries.
