Estée Lauder appoints tech chief

Cosmetic giant The Estée Lauder Companies has appointed Brian Franz as chief technology, data and analytics officer
Franz will lead the company’s global IT organisation, taking the reins from CIO Michael Smith, who departed earlier this month.
Franz previously served as global CIO at financial firm State Street.
