Aldi UK takes control with new partnership

By Retail Technology | Friday May 9 2025 | UPDATED 08.05.25

Supermarket giant Aldi UK has announced a new tech partnership to drive asset monitoring and control in its stores

The partnership with LoweConnex utilises its Switch IWMS platform and a bureau team to manage day-to-day activity of critical assets and will deliver significant energy savings whilst maintaining food safety.

By introducing sophisticated automation between existing building management and maintenance software platforms, the solution enables Aldi store colleagues to have more time with customers on the shop floor.

LoweConex’s platform delivers detailed analysis and control, as a market leader in food retail asset management, and will revolutionise the way Aldi uses data to drive their commitment to both colleagues and customers to be the nations favourite place to shop.
