Walmart to roll out AI “super agents”

By Retail Technology | Thursday July 31 2025 | UPDATED 30.07.25

Walmart has announced plans to roll out a suite of AI-powered "super agents" to improve the customer experience and streamline operations

Powered by agentic AI, the four agents are intended to be the primary way people engage with Walmart moving forward.

The super agents will be the entry point for every AI interaction Walmart shoppers, store employees, suppliers,  sellers and software developer have with Walmart and will replace several existing agents and AI tools, along with new ones yet to be built, the company said.

Sparky, one of the agents already in use, is assisting customers with product suggestions and summarising product reviews.
