METRO Greece, a major grocery retailer, has revolutionised its logistics operations across stores and distribution centres with the deployment of new mobility and voice solutions
Working directly with Honeywell, and systems integrator, Mobile Technology, METRO Greece - with 50 wholesale stores and over 240 retail stores across Greece - transformed their existing logistics operations by automating processes through Honeywell’s industry-leading technologies.
The Challenge
With thousands of daily orders and 24/7 operations running concurrently, METRO required a resilient, integrated, and future-proof logistics solution to improve accuracy, speed, and worker productivity - all without disrupting operations.
The Solution
Mobile Technology, a trusted Honeywell partner, implemented a powerful combination of Honeywell devices, including the Voice 700x headset and software, CK65 mobile computer, ScanPal EDA52 handheld computer and RT-10 tablet. These solutions were integrated directly into METRO’s warehouse management system, enabling a seamless rollout and immediate impact.
