Currys adds AI tool

UK electricals retailer Currys is launching a new tool called ‘Action AI’ in stores

The smart platform created with Quorso helps store teams work more efficiently and saves time by making important data easier for managers to find and understand.

It brings together information like sales, footfall, promotions, surveys and customer satisfaction, into one simple, action-focused dashboard and will cut through the confusion of too much data by guiding managers to the most important next step—making it easier for colleagues and better for customers to enjoy an improved shopping experience.

The platform has launched in an initial sixteen Currys stores across the UK, with full rollout planned in September.

“The platform is another important investment in our stores, which remain the lifeblood of our business and are loved by our customers. I’m excited to see the difference AI will make in supporting our store teams and making our stores even easier to shop for our customers,” said Currys COO Lindsay Haselhurst.
