Kingfisher expands partnership with AI

By Retail Technology | Friday October 17 2025 | UPDATED 16.10.25

Home improvement retailer Kingfisher has expanded its 15 year partnership with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to include AI as it enhances operational efficiency and resilience across over 1,900 stores in the UK and Europe

Under the renewed partnership, TCS will deploy automation and AI, establishing a joint ‘Innovation and Automation Office’ with Kingfisher to seamlessly integrate emerging technologies and practices, while also reducing operating costs.

These various technologies will provide actionable insights enabling the proactive and predictive management of online systems, empowering the retailer to deliver data-driven customer experiences and a robust e-commerce experience at speed.

Dave Haycocks, IT Services Director, Kingfisher, said, “We are delighted to double down on our commitment with our longstanding partner TCS to drive a more agile and efficient IT operation, to grow our business and help our customers and trade professionals build better homes.”
