Department store selects Marketplaces platform to boost online performance

House of Fraser has signed a deal to use the Marketplaces platform from ChannelAdvisor to sell on eBay.

House of Fraser finance director, Ray Kavanagh, said the e-commerce software provider was the obvious choice for House of Fraser, allowing it to standardise on a single view of product data.

Real-time view of performance

“Operating from one comprehensive product feed will allow us to streamline our strategy and reduce IT costs and ongoing development work, while having a clear focus in real-time on sales and margin from one simple interface," he said.

House of Fraser will also use ChannelAdvisor’s managed services for its Marketplaces campaigns.

Kavanagh continued: “Knowing that e-commerce experts will be completely managing House of Fraser’s campaigns is very important. We will be updated with weekly status calls and quarterly account planning as well as receiving online strategy advice, all without using our own resources.”
