ShopStyle appoints paid search agency

By Retail Technology | Wednesday April 2 2014

Appointment will help online fashion aggregator grow online business through search optimisation programme and digital marketing campaigns

ShopStyle, the online fashion aggregator and a division of Sugar Publishing Inc., has appointed Forward3D to manage its paid search across Europe.

ShopStyle describes itself as “a search engine devoted to fashion” and brings together the most fashionable stores and brands worldwide, allowing users to cross-shop hundreds of thousands of products all from one website.

Forward3D, a London-based international agency, will run paid search in Europe across ShopStyle’s extensive range of brands and categories that include apparel, home decorating and kids.

Building on existing e-commerce success

With Forward3D’s expertise in e-commerce, and fashion in particular, the agency will look to build on the site’s rise to prominence over the last couple of years.

Alex Emberey, European head of digital marketing and site performance at ShopStyle, commented: “Forward3D’s considerable retail experience and impressive track record makes them the ideal agency for ShopStyle, and we look forward to working with them to help grow our online business.”

Martin McNulty, CEO of Forward3D, commented: “We’ve shown our ability to accelerate retail businesses online through laser focused search and display marketing that has led us to produce record breaking figures for a number of our clients over the last year.

"ShopStyle represents another great challenge both in terms of their position in the market and the ambition of their business in the coming years – we can’t wait to get started.”
