Alibaba expands its AI cloud product

By Retail Technology | Monday June 19 2017

Ecommerce behemoth Alibaba has expanded its artificial intelligence (AI) and big data cloud product in Europe

The company’s "MaxCompute" processes vast amounts of data – it claims up to a petabyte - to enable organisations to make real-time predictions.

The expansion of the product is intended to boost Alibaba’s goal of challenging Amazon and Microsoft in the space.
