Wayfair using new 3D Facebook feature

By Retail Technology | Thursday February 22 2018

Home furnishing retailer Wayfair is taking advantage of Facebook’s new 3D posting feature

In a Facebook post on its page the company said: “Now, you can view your favourite furniture up-close and easily interact with Wayfair items before you buy! How? We’re giving you an inside look at our exclusive 3D technology, utilising the new Facebook 3D posts. Use your fingertips to navigate the space and explore Wayfair furniture like never before!”

The new 3D feature is instantly responsive to scroll and touch, making content pop off the screen and opening the door for a future where people can bring objects and experiences with them across AR, VR, mobile and web.
